Professional grooming tools
The moment you buy a puppy, you often don't think about how the coat will grow and what type of care it needs. Each coat-type requires specific grooming with special trimming tools designed for that type of coat. If you are not aware of this, it may have many negative consequences for your dog and for you in the short and longer term
What does a minimal form of grooming mean?
- Brushing the hairs with a long needled brush weekly
- Always using a water blower (also called Doodle Blaster) to dry a wet or dirty coat to prevent tangling
- Washing the dog once in a while with dog shampoo to remove dirt, skin oils and nasty odors
- Remove daily accumulation of tears from the corners
- Plucking the ears every two months to prevent ear infections
- Cutting the hairs from the anus weekly to prevent the lingering of stool
- Clipping the feet every two months to prevent stains and dirt accumulating between the soles
Doodlecomfort makes its selection of grooming tools based on the most high maintenance coats: thick, soft, long-haired, tangle sensitive, curly or fleece coats which are often wet, dusty or dirty. The Doodlecomfort coat care products are of the highest quality and are designed for professional coat carers.
